A2 (session) also features various members of P.D., der Plan and some hipsters from the Frankfurt jazz-scene.
Recorded June/July 1980. All tracks improvised. A2, A6, B3 recorded in one take. All others recorded in two takes (playing the first improvisation over amps and adding a second improvisation). Texts inspired by Samuel R. Delaney, Alfred Hilsberg, James G. Ballard & the Bundesministerium für Jugend, Familie und Gesundheit.
Released August 1980 as cassette (W 001) by Wahrnehmungen (renamed Selektion in 1982). Two tracks from the sessions were not included on the original tape, but released in 1981: A6 on Wahrnehmungen Sampler 1981 (W 012) part of B1 on N.D.P. (W 017). W 001 was copies on demand until 1982, and sold some 150 copies.
Restored and edited for LP release by rlw November/December 1997. Technical help by Christoph Heemann and Michael Elzer.
