The Apopcalyptic Manifesto is a great compilation of early Apop material from 1991 to 1998 and has a few exclusive tracks of great quality you won't find anywhere else. If you want an introduction to the early work of Apop, this is a highly recommended buy. Standout tracks are Deep Red, Electronic Warfare and the original 12'' version of Ashes To Ashes, though the Commodore 64 intro is also a great track in of itself. Lidelsens Mening is allegedly a track Stephan made for his early sideproject "Germ" which he formed with Anders Odden (who happens to play guitar on Burnin' Heretic (Album Version)"), which probably means it may be considered not a true Apop track, but it's a great dark piece of industrial regardless. Apop is a project that has constantly reinvented itself and this early collection is proof that Apop transcends all genre boundaries and include several influences into its work. Regardless of whether you are a fan of industrial music or mainstream rock music, this retrospective compilation provides an insight into the genesis of one of the world's greatest electronic projects.Worth mentioning is that Soli Deo Gloria was not released in the US, so Apopcalyptic Manifesto was the only way US citizens could listen to early Apop tracks without importing the debut album from Europe.
