On paper two tracks, under 25mins, not 'tried & tested' collaborators, and 'film' music for a wander around an island does not make for a great combination of winning ingredients. However the two (very different) tracks are well worth listening to. The fluttering notes of Nils Frahm's piano, background noise, and slowbuild to crescendo forms one half of the two. The other is a more ominous, foreboding ambient drone piece with attendant monologue by the excellent Robert de Niro. The piece allows an emotional space for the speaker's message to resonate. More like this please.
