This is a good looking little promo item. Clearly, the label wanted to re-introduce college DJs to Duran Duran, as they must have been still wearing diapers when Duran Duran hit it big in the early 80's, and so a copy of 'Decade' was bundled here as a bonus disc. Even so, it's a nice packaging, hinting that those early days are gone (hence the taped over cover artwork for the bonus disc?) but they still serve as a reminder of where they've come from.But if you already know Duran Duran then it's a good chance that you already own 'Decade' and so the bonus disc is of little interest to you. Personally, I thought the Duran Duran - Electric Barbarella release was better as it provides an updated 'best of' track listing, but that's another story.The good news is that the main disc provides a handful of versions of this great song, sure to please any college DJ spinning tunes back in '93 when 'MTV Unplugged' seemed to inspire a whole slew of acoustic renditions by various bands.It's a shame that there weren't more extended mixes on here but, then again, the 90's probably wasn't interested in any 'Night Versions'.
