This is the 1st 1994 self-released/self-titled cassette by Sam Jayne. This was the 1st anything he did under the name Love as Laughter, which he started as a side project in 1994 following the break up of his other/earlier band, Lync. Unknown quantities where made on cassette only. Sam Jayne originally made these cassettes mostly just to give out to his friends, sometimes for money, sometimes for free. But back in 1995, you could still order this cassette by sending Sam Jayne $3 in a money order to a P.O. Box in WA, buy the 1st or 2nd cassette for $3 a piece. The 1995 Love As Laughter and Ringfinger split 7" mentions this on the back side of the cover in a sort of like ad for the two cassettes, though it just refers to them as cassettes (I or II), instead of Love as Laughter and Clear Sky = Blue Dye. The track names listed here were made up, not by me, but by someone who had this cassette back in the day. As far as I can tell there was no actual track listing added for this cassette, but all or most of this cassette was included on the 1999 compilation CD Thru The Past, Brightly Vol 1. (1992-94). So the track names on there would be the actual/official track names. If anybody out there has the 1st Love as Laughter cassette and the compilation CD Thru The Past, Brightly Vol 1. (1992-94), please take the time to correct the track listing to the correct track names. There really isn't much known about this cassette, the 2nd one as well, so if anybody has anything else to add please do.
