Sing it loud is a happy hardcore anthem !! That was h.h. before the 4/4 or 4 beat / bounchy style... Not that this makes any diffrent ... Old skool hardcore, breakbeat hardcore, happy hardcore whatever GREAT TUNE !

Such a tune! Kanned on Don FM a classic and one the biggest tunes in 93.

Probably one of 93's biggest tracks ( along with the Slammer )...

Every body who knows this music called this a jungle crossover track ,a mix of jungle and 4/4 hardcore with a touch of darkcore all djs played this micky finn, rider , frost, rap and djs like dougle, stu allan and slipmatt , evan as late as early 93 when jungle was well and truley here jungle djs still would drop a hardcore track micky finn and dj rap among other jungle djs played dj edge's compnond through out 92 and most of 93

Thats cos in 91-93 it was all under one title... Hardcore Jungle Tekno! Then in '94 it split into sub genres and those with a more darker sound, ragga samples and a more jazzy edge became the jungle/dnb producers, and those with the 4/4 kick, the more happier vocals and the piano and strings euphoria sound became the happy hardcore producers. In late '92/'93 the sound sped up from 135/140 - 150/160 and often incorporated a generally darker sound thus becoming titled 'darkcore'.... Before '94 it was a truly beautiful time, you'd have hardcore raves with line ups from LTJ Bukem, Ellis D, Ratpack, Micky FInn, Hype, Slipmatt, Randall, Dougal, ETC and that was all in the same arena, not seperated!! RIP the true rave days!!!

The first ever release from Vibesy & quite different from the later releases from him. The a side is Sing It Loud not Obsession but anyways the a side is more uplifting & swings more towards the happy vibe side of things & doesnt get played as much as the b side. The b side however is more of a jungle tune & not quite what you would expect from the Vibesy that we know today. If you listen to many old tapes from back in the day, it was mainly played by jungle DJs, which reflects the style of musik that it geared more towards.

Amen Brother by the Winstons had that break in it and it wasn't jungle either was it. Bit of a strange comment really AmenWorshipper. It was caned by the future (!) jungle DJS as it had pace and made the crowd move plus didn't have a piano breakdown. Remember, when this came out it was all hardcore really.. not a totally fragmented scene!

I wouldn't say Obsession(Music's so wonderful) was jungle, the only similarity is the beats. NWA's straight outta compton has the Amen break in it but that doesn't make it jungle.
