This is a great collection by a true visionary. Some are better than others, but all of these records are fantastic works of art, during Mitchell's golden period. Not many artists have 10 better-than-solid records in a row (within 11 years). Not to say that these were her only good records, but her career post 1980 was pretty different musically, and very hit or miss, so this is the perfect set. It's only too bad they didn't include the 1980 live album "Shadows And Light", which is my favorite live album by any artist (and far superior to 1974's "Miles of Aisles").
