Orchestral music showing the amazing compositions and arrangements of Lyle "Spud" Murphy, an important musical figure since the 1930s. This one was recorded in the late 1970s although not released on CD until 1998.

Composer of jazz, big band and Hollywood soundtracks. Wrote many famous arrangements for Benny Goodman including Jingle Bells. Wrote the theme song for the Three Stooges (Three Blind Mice). Created his own system of music theory called the "Equal Interval System".
