Just received my purple copy today, after 3 months of waiting. Sounds great, but sometimes I get paranoid thinking the record is dirty because of the embedded surface noise on the tracks.

Mopimicr
ha ha ha ha ha, me too, what a bizarre situation.

I have done a moderate amount of flipping in my time, and make no apologies for that because I only ever did it to fund further vinyl purchases, such as expensive box sets.however,I never ever flipped on this level.obviously I have done it myself so have no right to criticise or judge those who are doing it here, but I do have one concern which I cannot let lie; why is it ok for people to sell this at enormously inflated prices when the artist himself is struggling to get by? I was on James Kirby's mailing list for ages and I remember one of his mailouts was talking about how difficult it is to be an artist/musician and make ends meet.I've no idea what he gets moneywise per record but it must be a mere fraction of these prices we are currently seeing.I have stopped flipping in the last few months because I cannot,in all good conscience, profit from artists' hardship, especially not a genius like James Kirby.if anything,I am owe him for the pleasure his music has brought to me.Again, not saying my shit doesn't stink,it's just an observation.seems wrong.

People selling this yesterday on Discogs before (presumably) they could even have received it from Boomkat. Unethical and presumably against Discogs rules.

Reemiel
https://www.discogs.com/help/doc/mp-sell-agreementIt's even the first term of the seller's agreement...you must possess the album in order to sell it.

Burirus
250, gone from boomkat in a matter of minutes! I really wonder why they don't press more. Surely the 400 black ones will go quickly too. Edit: SQ and mastering is excellent

Yeah they went out in about half an hour, which is surprising, given how small but very eager Leyland Kirby's fanbase is

snowball
News from Boomkat that more copies (color not specified) will be available in a few weeks.

Ndyardin
I don't know mate but even if any were classed as being shipped today, it takes at least 24 hours to arrive in the post. Regardless of what time an item is posted, same day delivery is not an option - even in Manchester :)

Qutalan
Strange. Could it be Boomkat's error? On my account it's marked as shipped.

Jube
I've been buying from Boomkat for years and yes, they do work fast but not THAT fast. I ordered mine less than a minute after they went on sale. Orders have been confirmed but as far as I'm aware not yet shipped. My Email confirmation quote was: "Estimated Shipping Date: 07/10/2016". I live just on the outskirts of Manchester and have never had same day delivery. It just doesn't happen that quickly.

Umrdana
My copy got shipped 20 minutes after I put my order on Boomkat. They do work fast, and surely those people who are selling now are from Manchester and received them on the same day.

Beabandis
Yep, the black vinyl is out of stock now. I was lucky enough to grab the purple vinyl earlier today

LadyShlak
I agree Cameron4489. I was lucky this time and secured a purple one. No doubt the usual money-grabbers will have them up on here soon at ridiculous prices. It makes my blood boil when genuine collectors miss out to the ones just wanting to make a fast buck.EDIT: I spoke too soon. There's already one up for £99 and they've not even been shipped yet. FFS.EDIT #2: It's been changed to £140 now.
