Drum machine is a prominent sound on this cassette album, and you will also hear liberal use of delay effects on the instruments and vocals. I recall that Phinney used an Ibanez delay pedal; I don't remember the other delay pedal he used. Although there is no way of knowing for certain what synthesizers Phinney used on this album, during the course of the 1980s he used Korg Poly-800 (which sounds clearly in evidence here), Moog Prodigy, Moog Rogue, and ARP Axxe. He also used a sampler, but I'm not sure if he used it here or not. Recorded and created on a 4-track cassette recorder in Phinney's home in Memphis, Tennessee."
