duh-dum dum dum dum... Strip down Deep Inside and it is incredibly simple built up with very basic plink-plonk sounds. Yet a catchy drum programming and only Masters can put something like this together.

Геракл
"Just Believe" contains vocal samples of "Blaze ‎– So Special" (1990).

Whitestone
I hope the ep gets a special repress. Loads of goodies on here.

Simple fellow
i have a spare copy, would swap for something?

Fordrellador
I’ve always found it hard to understand the obsession with this track. Strangely obtaining a cult-like obsession in the UK, particularly with Garage DJ’s. Perhaps one of the most un-Louie Vega tracks I can think of, that he put his name to. Made more understandable by the fact that it was actually Erick Morillo twiddling the knobs on this. Louie also confirmed recently (on the Red Bull Music Academy Lecture that MAW did), that mastering killed this track (which makes sense when you hear how hard the kick is in relation to the rest of the track).Released a year in advance of “Beautiful People” to make people aware of the hook, before unleashing the Barbara Tucker monster into clubland (which IMHO is far superior).

Hugighma
I find it hard to understand what you don’t like or seem to be bothered by with this track and why DJ’s like myself (and the crowd alike) love it. It’s irrelevant who mixed and produced it. There isn’t any need to over analyse music like this it is what it is. Just feel it.

EROROHALO
You are right the original mix is nothing special and actually can backfire and clear a dancefloor. To answer the question as to "why" people remember this track, my theory is it goes back to Ministry of Sound - Session 5: MAW. It was 1995, they were touring, b2b on 4 turn tables, They kick off the double CD with a 12 minute unreleased master mix of Deep Inside. It sample madness and the breakdown around the 4:30 - 5 minute mark was absolutely ridiculous. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v85B7t6Z-iY

Dead Samurai
I'm from Canada, now that you mention it, that track seems to have a speed garage feel. Very raw. I suppose that's what Louie meant on that RBMA interview. Not polished but I feel that same quality helped to its success. Doesn't sound very dated.

Dellevar
Another classic. Kenny Dope/MAW were slammin' cuts back then. Goes well with a Lady Miss Kier.

Went Tyu
Heavy Weather Mix is indeed the killer mix!

Nuadabandis
the best house sound ever made on this planet !!

Tygolar
just love this track back in the day at gardening club , use to go to a little club in bognor it was a hiden gem in clubland a lot of the london well know face's starting going there . Frankie bones played there once a month and I remeber the first time he played this .what a big tune he would mix this into colourblind ,nothing better , what can I say apart from great nights !!!!

Rainpick
Listening to "Deep Inside" again still gives me the Goosebumps. What a fantastic track! Just some tight and crisp beats with that simple plink-plonk synth-line. It is truly amazing track hence how simple it is. If you listen closely, each element in it (The beats, the synth-line, the Bass line and the piano vibes), it is kinda dated, but all these put together makes the track so fresh and groovy and make it stand out for years to come. It is also fun to mix in CJ Mackintosh remix of "Beautiful People" right after "Deep Inside", which is the same track but with vocals, then make the crowd go more wild and bring the track to new heights. Anyone can take 10 minutes of is believe me. Another aspect to the story of this record is that it was put together in Erick Morillo's old Studio in New York.

Burgas
Absolutely love this record, remember hearing "Deep Inside" on a college radio station "alternative" mix show back in '94 and later on a mix tape that was passed around from pull out to pull out car deck within my crew. Wish I had a dollar for every time a young cat comes up and asks, "Hey, who is that?" Classic.
