Released last summer as a tie in to PvD's "Best of" compilation celebrating his nearly 20 years in the business, For an Angel was brought bang up to date with 7 new remixes. Quite clearly a cash-in on Dyk's most famous track, none of the new remixes do any real justice to the track, failing to capture the innocence and emotion of the original E-Werk remix that clubbers fell in love with back in '98. That said, of the new remixes, the Impetto and Miika Kuisma versions are slightly (and only slightly) better than the others, using that famous melody a little more intelligently and not relying on it as the other remixes tend to do. However, this is all babble, because no remix, not even the 1998 E-Werk comes close to the original mix of For an Angel from right back in 1994.

I agree with BassDrivenEmotion regarding the '09 Remixes although the PvD E-Werk Club Mix did not disappoint me back in '98 when I first heard it.
