Remko Scha's Machine Guitars liberates sound from emotions that otherwise would obscure purity. Hypnotic rhythms, intricate tunings and the phasing in and out of harmonics over time must have been the result of painstaking experimentation with materials and set-ups. Each track on this disk is a feast of aural complexity and would warrant a full length release on its own. Mr. Scha, any hour long recordings kicking around for release, please?
