Picked up the 2015 repress, sounds great. Both sides go in hard.

Low noise vinyl. Beautiful mastering. AMAZING tracks. Repressed after the 'right' amount of time.Perfect record.

The A side of my label on the repress is all bubbled up. Like it didn't stick to the vinyl like it should have. It plays fine just looks funny. Has anyone else's like this or has anyone seen this before on other records?

sometimes an extra 2nd label gets accidentally pressed on top which can cause this effect - carefully peel a little piece of the paper away to see if there's another label underneath - I usually start at the hole for best results. peel away the entire 2nd label and you should find a perfect label below. hope this helps!

Oh nice! thanks guys that was it. It was a little tricker to get off though. I had to poke a hole in one of the bubbles and start from there. The edges were sealed pretty good, even bending the record I couldn't get it started there. Once I started it though it came off smooth and the label underneath looks perfect.

Hey aidonnbrandon Bend the vinyl convex with the doubled label facing up and it will just fall off. I used to work in a pressing plant!

lewbylew is right - it's multiple stamps. I have many records with this - perhaps it happens less now due to all the hand stamping that's all the hype.

I have had what sounds like this issue multiple times. They've double stamped the label on the record. If you take it off there's another label underneath. Taking it off doesn't damage the other label at all.

It doesn't really bother me as the record plays fine. I was just wondering if all the repress copies were like this or it this one it a single fluke.

Still slightly head over heels about this release.

This is a seriously fabulous record. In an eye blink, I could attest to the fact that on its own it outshines the other three White Material releases. I know this is going to enrage certain individuals here, but after letting this one properly sink in, it is clear that the remainder of the label's output is genuinely overvalued. Notice how I didn't use the term lame, whack, weak or whatever the bunch of y'all prefer. Having said that, if you have read anything I've posted on this site, you'll notice how I mainly avoid disgracing and demoting stuff the majority seems to be into, but everything that has been put out by White Material before or after "Leech2", lacks the shine and utter dignity this record has.The Lustwerk release, as discussed as it has been, fails to deliver any meaningful purpose with the seemingly random rap vocals. Some were fascinated, others couldn't be bothered to replay the record. Flip the script, and you have the title track here, where the vocals are cleverly laid over soothing houseish melody work, and the outcome is sublime. Lazy, dusty and addictive. Sounds like mr. Richard here wanted to make a soundtrack to year 3000, but only had a Dictaphone and Magix Music Maker (remember that???) at your disposal.Elsewhere, enter M.D.W.B. Whatever the acronym stands for is totally irrelevant. As somebody here already pointed out, the bass section on this track is heavenly deep. This tune is designed for a sound system few can provide at the moment. The whistling vocal snippets perfectly add to the ecstatic drive of the groove. The mid section, also previously called to attention by a fellow reviewer here, is vicious and filthy. Meaning, hardly anything can match it. In my ears, M.D.W.B. is by light years the finest thing done on the label thus far. While I could question the rest, this one is for the history books.Shade Of '77 is a muddy, broken beat effort, also driven by a looped hip hop excerpt. These guys obviously have a thing for it, which is not bad per se, but one has to be careful when bringing the vocals in: having them "just because" usually results in lackluster material, overusing them is even worse. Luckily, this is one of those moments when it all comes together just right. The whispering melody some three minutes deep, the vocal, and the heavy, cascading fractured drum work. This is something else, I tell you.Confession time. As did most, I just had to hear for myself what in the hell was everyone raving about. White Material. Whether the place under the spot light is justified or not, who am I to say? Musically speaking, what I can assure you, is that this is a magnificent record. If for some odd reason you refuse to buy those, suit yourself. Personally, I'll live without the rest of their back catalogue, I'd rather some of you satisfy your needs and go home happy faced. Regardless, this one is a keeper, with M.D.W.B. being a track for the ages, in my opinion.

Definitely agreed. More to these tracks than chugging techno tunes; there's some raw, visceral sounds here and tracks that morph and develop rather than remaining stuck in the same rut throughout the entire duration.
