As stated in one online review, it's just a "synthetic plastic massacre" and I think that's a pretty accurate description of the album.

Trash Obsession

The only Sugababes album featuring Jade Ewen in the lineup is a fun Pop / Dance affair produced primarily in America. Although not as creative and individual as past Sugababes albums such as 'Taller In More Ways' and 'Catfights and Spotlights', the record is still fun, inoffensive and enjoyable. Highlights include the top ten single 'About A Girl' which is full of hooks and slick energy, 'Thankyou For The Heartbreak' which thumps along nicely with an outstanding vocal performance from Jade, and 'No More You'; an R&B tinged midtempo with fantastic lyrics and a sense of genuine emotion, which can also be said for the albums stunning closing ballad 'Little Miss Perfect', lead by Amelle. While the lineup is often criticized for its change in musical direction, it must be noted that the record was first recorded featuring Keisha Buchanan's vocals which were replaced by Jade's when she was fired, meaning the fourth Sugababes lineup never worked on the album as a true three-piece. All in all, the record has its flaws in its somewhat lacking production and, at times, generic pop sensibility, but it is enjoyable in its simplicity and the majority of tracks are fantastic for a party atmosphere.

Adoranin

Awful album, the worst lineup, terrible production and devoid of any genuine craftmanship or depth. Brittle, tinny, clipped production - vocals sound robotic, the start and end of words lost in the fuzzy, over-produced modern technology and the absence of only original member Keisha Buchanan makes this the absolute pits. Avoid at all costs. It sold poorly, down to £3 in HMV within a couple of months and is the worst performing album in their catalogue. -1/10.
