Kicking things off is the stellar (pun intended) "Nebula", a rhythm driven techno killer, with a slashing baseline and spaced out synths flowing and swirling around, fairly minimaly constructed yet rich in poignant emotions.The flip side is a more peaceful affair, thought still centered around a knifelike hi-hat and hefty rhythm, the synth work is evidently much lighter and brigther with a delicate sensitivity of an open space.Nothwithstanding the fact that it was Niels' first release for Ann Aimee, it served as a taste of great things to come and began a line of memorable releases, highly recommended for anyone into deep, dubby, emotional, quality techno.
