I like these mixes. The Derrick Carter one is my favorite of the two as it has more funky house. The DC mix shares a few similar tracks to the "Gene Farris - Booked" DJ mix that was out around the same time, which I love just as much. The Luke Solomon mix was a tad headier and included some broken beat elements along with some zany house. I've never seen Luke Solomon play but Derrick Carter live is a total beast of a DJ. This mix is a good sampling of that. Recommended.
