This remix version was recorded in Media Sound Studios in New York in 1986 and remixed by Steve Thompson and Michael Barbiero. Manchester's 52nd Street were recording in the same building with Lenny White and Michael Brecker. Grace Jones heard Tony Henry playing guitar in the next studio and asked him to pop in and put some dub licks back in the track. The big reggae guitar in the remix is Tony Henry. There is a photo of Henry, Barbiero and Jones in the studio on that session.
