Originally recorded for West German television station SWF for the TV show Ohne Filter in Baden-Baden April 1986 and broadcasted in two parts - one usual show with various artists and another show as John Martyn special. This DVD just contains the complete second TV show, while the first part with Angeline and Nightline is missing here.
Region-free DVD comes with sleevenotes by John Hillarby.
First 1000 copies also had a CD of this concert included.
This show had also been released earlier on VPI label as Purely Music Concert Series as NTSC laserdisc manufactured in Japan and released in USA.
