From the east of the Fertile Crescent comes a great album that does well to contribute to the legacy of one of the exceptional regions on this planet. Similar to Ildjarn's use of soundscapes to capture the wilderness of Northern Europe, Erragal here presents a spiritual portal to Mesopotamia.Musically, it is genius - epic and desolate, a lament to the fall of great empires. Despite some similarities to Ildjarn and Suuri Shamaani, Erragal is very unique and distinctly Middle Eastern. It's not an easy listen if you're a princess who craves formulaic music with polished sound - this is absolutely not for wimps. If you're into triggered blasting, slam breakdowns, other retarded gimmicks, or party metal in general (e.g. "Brutal Death Metal" and other bearded hipster music), stay away from Erragal.Erragal is recommended for people who have an interest in creative (a.k.a. true) metal, spiritual travels, transcendence, ancient culture, blood/soil, Sumeria, Akkad, Assyria, Babylon, history, Ildjarn, Suuri Shamaani, the sun, solar symbols, Spear of Longinus, paganism, etc5 stars, Tahya Souria

This is currently my favorite album (and has been for a long time), and I'm proud to own a copy on CDR. I got my copy from Depressive Illusions, and there should be some still there.

The cover on mine looks like it was cut by hand with a pair of scissors. I strongly doubt that anyone would have bothered to bootleg this album considering how obscure it is.

I'm looking for this album. Depressive Illusions and Salute have sold out, but I've found one elsewhere. However, the cover looks photocopied. What's the print quality on the official CD-R?
