if you go into 'edit release' and click 'copy to draft' it will create a duplicate release, in which you then need to compare the details and alter what's different about it. Take note mainly of catalogue number (in this case TOR31, sometimes promo cat no's will be slightly different) and any other factors which differentiate it from the main release (this one here!) If it's only a regular copy but altered by hand to denote that it's a promo, I don't think it will qualify as a promo in this listing (I don't necessarily agree with that, but discogs is a worldwide site and different areas (and different labels, different artists, different distributors, (etcetera)) of the world have different customs, obviously). So, there needs to be proper printed/pressed production variations (reggae 7" promos from 1970s are often white labels, which do qualify as promos). There are a lot of pedantic c*nts on this site, so go into it with an open mind and don't let anyone wind you up!
