Are there 2 different "edits of this Tonka Sound System Remix? I have this vinyl and its length is 5:29 but I managed to find an mp3 of the same remix (maybe with a crispier sound) that runs up to 6:51.Maybe there were two different vinyl presses? any ideas?

I think heaven is a timeless masterpiece, the production is outstanding imo. really nice moody dark classic that just keeps building even though its so simple.

I USED TO RAVE TO THIS TRACK BACK IN THE DAY , BUT ONCE THE DRUGS STOP WORKING YOU REALISE HOW POOR THIS 12 REALLY IS. . . STILL IT NEEDS TO BE IN THE COLLECTION AS IT WAS A BIG TUNE BACK THEN FOR A FEW WEEKS !!

Personally, I find this remix of Anasthasia to be very boring. The breakbeat/bassline sounds soulful and funky, which totally goes against the grain of the original's aesthetic. Asides from this major change, the editing of the track is quite brutal even by 1991 standards. This is best exemplified by the transition from the intro into the main riff around 30 seconds into the track which doesn't even try to make an attempt at fading.To be honest I don't really care if this bootleg was big in the clubs around 1991, personally I would much rather hear the Dub mix or the Scientist remix.The b-side track Heaven is busy, and puts a lot into its production. While it is certainly dark, it is too funky for me. Relying a lot on groovy percussion and a rather dated (even for the time) stuttering vocal, it sounds like a cast-off b-side from Humanoid.

Although the Anasthasia mix was impressive, it's the untitled B-Side that does it for me - blindin' catchy bassline, wicked heavy break, and an easily recognisable vocal from The Chimes 'Heaven' - it's one of those tunes that you may have heard, but never been able to track down. I know it was certainly very hard to find back in the day, and those that had it usually just played the Anastasia mix due to the obvious immediate crowd reaction it would get. However listening back after all those years it's stll clear the real gem was always on the b-side - it's a seriously heavy tune! - and IMHO hasn't dated anywhere near as much as the Anasthasia mix. Many people from back in the day including the record shop where I originally purchased the track had always titled this 12" as "Artist=Tonka Tracktitle=B99" - as far as I know the b-side had always remained untitled. I know you can always get chinese whispers with white labels so without speaking to the original artist nothing is set in stone... but the B99 title would seem very fitting, afteralll it is a bootie (B=bootleg) and the 99 bit would be the nod to T99. As many people say, if you're lucky enough to find a copy, buy on sight - you won't regret it.

This a fantastic remix of Anasthasia, it has nice haunting sounds over the top of the original version with Renegade Soundwave's The Phantom breakbeat underneath. This version of T99 was massive in 1991, well known because of its vocal sample "All good children go to heaven" I'm not sure who was really behind this version, as my copy is labelled up as CHOCKI / B99. If you see a copy buy it on sight!
