Excellent album from a group of students, strong East Kentucky folk music. A few interesting facts about the album artwork: Tom Sheffel (banjo) had just had casts removed from both legs before the photo was taken and that's why he is sitting down on the front of the album, also if you look closely at the banjo he is holding on the back of the album you can see a ghostly image of his wife showing through the head of the banjo.

Obscure Student Project Record of Lees College students from Jackson, Kentucky which is in Eastern Ky, doing fantastic Appalachian Mountain Folk Music with a strong emphasis on Coal Mining themes, including a song called "Coal Tattoo" which is a term used to describe the scarring caused by prolonged exposure to coal dust in the mines when it would find its way into the lines & creases of exposed skin.
