The instrumentation on "Rocking At The Cocanut Top" is stripped down to standup bass, jungle drums and Texas bluesman Hop Wilson's wild steel guitar (an instrument usually associated with country music). Add to this a few ape calls here and there and something that actually sounds like vinyl scratching (!!!) and what you get is raw and primitive black backwoods rockabilly at it's best. A fantastic party tune that will devastate any dancefloor!
