Quantum Leap is a great track filled with mentasm samples and landlord I like it keyboards. I discovered it from the Grooverider @ Helter Skelter - The Funhouse 1991 mix. I recently remade that mix and I wanted the actual record (not the repress which I already had) so that I could hear the B side. Well.. I kind of wish I suck with the repress because the B side here, "Untitled" is a mess. I think it would have been nice if it was made in the studio properly. It was not! Its a noisy wall of distorted noise. Its way nosier then the track its trying to be, "Stabbed I the Back". Funny I feel stabbed in the back for buying this. Well, if you don't have Quantum Leap already, then get it for that, that cut is fine.

I remember back in 1991 (yes 91) my friend DJ Frenzy gave me this saying "It's way too noisy for me but you'll love it!" I did instantly. Because it was a whit label (well kinda an off cream color) there were no details. So for the b side, I wrote The Mindfucker! It's one twisted journey at just over 9 minutes long. The breakbeats are solid, the noise shredding in ferocity and the mysterious ethereal sound always throws me. I also remember taking this record up to Passion Records in London and playing it to Ray Stanley (one half of D.O.P.E,) and all he said was "Whoaaa what the 'hell' is this?!!!! The other side is a belter in a more UK Techno kind of way. My only gripe is the mastering! It's utter shit! I dunno what Naz Aka Naz was on? Compared to all the other 786 Approved records this one was way at the end of the queue when it came to 'sound' management! Oh well, we can't have it all eh. Also Track A samples:Vocal from Jocelyn Brown - Love's Gonna Get You. Is true but probably was sampled from Moby - "Go" "Yeeeeaaaaah!".

Even though release data isn't meant to be discussed in reviews, I'll follow your lead just this once.. If you are absolutely certain, then enter the correct year. I remember it in 1991 aswell, I think, but I'm not 100% as I don't trust my judgement at this ripe old age anymore, unfortunately :/
