Is anyone's track 4 on the vinyl messed up? The vocals are all chopped up and strange. It sounds nothing like "I want to tell you something" from the digital version -- was this intentional?

It's intentional, probably. It's not chopped up and strange, it's backwards and the title is different: "Tell Me Something" instead of "I Want To Tell You Something." I haven't worked out an exact interpretation, but it most likely has something to do with the album's themes of communication through music and its relationship to the mediums that carry it to the listener. "The medium is the message," as McLuhan claimed more than half a century ago.
