This version was not pressed in 1984 as the listing suggests... It is a repress of the 84' release, and cut from a different source. The 'L' in the etchings suggests Greg Lee, CA, which makes this a repress.

This record has quality problems. I have bought two copies of this and both skip on Tebitan Jam instrumental . I am working on my third one and I hope it doesn't skip. Don't buy a copy with VG by it because it will skip. That Jam was played so much that I think they just wore the groves out. Both copies I bought had VG + advertised but that's my luck.

This is what electro is. After a decade, sadly electro trying to be introduced once again with electro clash and lately electro house. C'mon clash ahs nothing to do with electronic music and please don't make house music sound cheap by puttinh electro before it. Everybody lived electro 20 years ago. And this vinyl has always been the best reference for the past, present and future. One thing I'm curious with this is that you can hear the acid sound in the track how come in that year?! Anyway everything is great in that production, perfect!

I picked this up on New Year's Day, 1992. Little bit of trivia for Dynamix II fans and sample hunters... the beginning of the Tibetan Jam instrumental is the beat behind the part in Dynamix II's Ignition that goes "What's the situation now? I don't know. I don't know." The other track in there is "State Farm" by Yaz.

I'm not exactly sure when this re-issue came out, but it's amazing. This is the one to get! Forget the original on Polydor. This version has instrumental versions of the two tracks, and they are both amazing. Especially "Tebitan Jam." The vocal version is great, but without the spoken lyrics it becomes a completely new experience. All in all, this is probably one of the greatest old-school electro jams. This record is right up there with Al-Naafiysh and Planet Rock.

I got hold of my copy in 1990 and after consulting some electro experts I understand that's when this version was released, the first pressing had the small yellow label as far as I know. The Reckless instrumental is the one for me right now, I've been playing it a lot lately and it's mind blowing music. This 12", 'terminator' by kid frost and 'itchiban scratch' by The Glove are records that I will listen to every week for as long as I have ears that work, the best music ever, nobody has come close in the 25 years since this came out.

totally agreed, that version of TJ is THE ONE...everytime i play that, i get the uncontrollable urge to poplock...also it is fucking hard at some point! especially that tiny melody accompanied with those icy flashsounds right after the part with those painful screams is just awesome...i always imagine a real evil wizard casting palpatine-like flashes from his fingertips (LOL)!
