4 hero's master piece.This is by far there best production.The whole ep is focused towards the darker side of rave music.Its no coincidence as reinforced records pioneered the sound 'in tandem with other artists' Like rufige cru,doc scott to name but a few. This ep is genre bending. Make no mistake equal to that of metalheads "Terminator" Another genre creating tune. Using time stretched beats and Joey "Mentasm" Beltram style riffs. I am refering to track 4 "In The Shadow" All the tracks our supreme but i would like to give reference to the above as one of the most blissed out break-beat techno tunes i have ever heard it encapsulates the whole ecstasy experience the funky breakbeat sits perfect along the mutated riff,mid track piano vamps stab at you blissing you out before taking you back to the dark side. Its the closest i've ever heard to an aural simulation of a shiver down the spine. In the shadow remains up there with the very best for me its a personal favorite equal to foul plays "Open your mind" remix.
