Notes

Upon the release of the single in late spring of 1965, Jackie and Gayle performed "That's How It Goes" as the plug side on Shindig, Hollywood a Go Go and Shivaree. Written by Tony Hatch, it featured a very British pop sound, not surprisingly reminiscent of Hatch's work with Petula Clark. When that side failed to generate much airplay, the ladies started to promote "It's the Thought That Counts" (on Hollywood a Go Go) which presented their sound as a duo to far great advantage. However, it didn't fare any better in generating airplay. Even so, this release probably stands as their best single.
