Notes

This release was orignally intended to be released on Social Circles.
An inicial amount of 2000 records was pressed, but before the records had been distributed, London Recordings signed Ms. Dynamite to their label. Due to a label-deal with Public Demand, the record has been drafted to be released on Public Demand. As the vinyls already had been pressed, the 2000 records were released as whitelabels in a "Public Demand"-stickered sleeve. Further issues contain a Public Demand Sticker on the labels aswell. Thats why all copies of this release bear the engraved Category JKSC 008 but no additional PD Category

Always thought the original release of this had that fairground tune or another Sticky tune on the flip side, am almost certain I've seen someone play a version like that.. Was over 15 years ago though so the memory could be a bit hazy

Very interesting reading the notes on here, which explains the way it was released. This was the most wanted tune at the time, everyone was going mad for it. Those lucky enough to have it on the original Social circles release were the envy of all other DJs at the time. It took ages to come out after, and by that time the buzz had died down within a matter of weeks as it had been hammered for so long. Even when the promos were out on Public Demand it seemed near impossible to get a copy. There were 3 versions released on PD, to my knowledge. i BAGGED THE mEDIEVAL hOOLIGANS & dUBAHOLICS (the latter which is almost as good as the original imo) but still couldn't get the original. I ended up getting it on the 3rd release which was way too late by then! Absolute monster from Sticky & MS Dynamite, she really goes in on this & it was way ahead of its time with the swearing & aggressiveness plus that ultra low bassline. There was an instrumental (not sure whether it was official or not) of this kicking about when grime got going a few years after which used to be wicked for the mcs, shame they didn't release that sooner as it would have been a staplepoint in a lot of DJs sets such as PAYG ETC.. but i suppose they wanted the vocal to do as well as possible & in hindsight it wa such a big tune I think the choice would have been to play the vocal anyway. This was one of those rare tunes when even in an MC set they would shut up & let the tune do the talking rather than try & run lyrics over it, it just commanded respect.
