Skip all the patchy archive and environments releases most of which are hard to listen through; THIS compilation, stretched out on three vinyls is the one you need ( It's a pity the CD only contains the second record and a few tracks from the other two only, but if you like, you can purchase the download version, which contains all of the tracks) . All elements fit together perfectly here, finally FSOL have made the right choices when going through their archives. This time they have managed to create an album in which all tracks flow seamlessly into one another to create an even flow - the closest the "band" have come to create something like an album in the past years. This said, there are two other releases that come close to this though; they are: Environments 1 and the utterly brilliant Environments 4, which must be one of my favourite ambient albums ever!

If you're a fan of Lifeforms, I'd recommend this album.Love it! :-D

Conjulhala
I have copy 1194, each disc is flawless and sounds great. The black matted cover attracts fingerprints very easily.

Brariel
Actually I received my new order from Deejay.de and everything's ok. All LPs play good, no warping, sound clear. Looks like I had a bad stock issue from first order.

Vudogal
Sorry. I need to correct my comment. Actually apart from the fact that all 3 are warped , unfortunately the second one " Environmental" both sides is affected the most. The needle jumps on it like crazy. Warped close to the record edge. Need to flatten them somehow. So, yes it looks like all of them are affected.

lacki
Mine are all flat like the FSOL Earth we all hoover over.

Kulalbine
I just had a chance to check mine today, and no problems I can see--disc 2, second side is on the platter right now and playback is loud and clear.

Narim
No noise. Actually all LPs have great sound and all are pretty loud. BUT the small warped bumps in first 2 LPs were totally unacceptable, with the second LP simply unplayable. Mind the set costs round 50 Euros...nothing to add. I only wonder if all issues are affected ? Can anyone confirm no warping / wobble or small deformations issues in their sets ?

watchman
What about noise on F2? All source that i hear had the same noise.

Ballalune
Why don't FSOL provide download codes with their records? That's actually very annoying...

Rainbearer
Same thing - E side last track a re noisy.

Vizuru
Listening to my MP3s that came with the vinyl purchase directly off FSOL's website. Both the last track on the E side and the second track on the F side contain noise as an effect. Just confirming that it's not the vinyl.

Skiletus
Surely the crackles on E6 are intentional. I think they are.

Modifyn
I check all available downloads, previews on juno - everywhere same sounds. Maybe this sounds is a part of music concept?

Runehammer
Actually I have just ordered mine directly from FSOL Digital. Waiting for the delivery - asap I play it I can confirm here whether it is a single issue problem or it affects each LP.

Urtte
Also track F2 has periodical "hr-hr-shh" sounds. Looks like i'm unlucky one.

Perilanim
dmkbox Same thing - E side last track a re noisy. Bought from deejay.de Please other users confirm issues. Is this not a bug?

Risinal
Quite solid release music-wise. First two records go the typical FSOL sound of the last years. It's good to see that they are trying new terrain on Views, which is purely piano-centered and goes into some Eno inspired neo-classic. Unfortunately, FSOL stay far behind the output of their contemporary pals here.

Arcanescar
Does anyone have pressing issues too? First track on A skips and the last track on side E has lots of noise on my copy.

Zadora
Yer I cleaned my copy using a vacuum cleaner and no skips no noise at all.

Fenius
There is a skip on my first track, cleaning won't help. But I agree, the pressing is generally good - except for the tracks mentioned above.

Jesmi
My A1 doesn't skip. As for the noise on E6, it's surely intended to be there. This is generally a very good pressing. I'm going to wash my copy as the static generated in taking the discs out of the sleeve is affecting playback slightly. Try cleaning your side A and play it again. You may get better results.

Ballagar
Just got the triple vinyl....had it on digital format before - my favoured section is the Views one - but this version is really stunning!!! Going for the CD now ;)
