One idea, but a good one. A bit like Hudak or Mem, Menche start from a recording of a percussion, a kind of Bodhran, but the cover, with the bear, sugest us that perhaps it is a shaman drum? This drum is identified at the beginning and gradually transformed accelerated or sound processed in a 50' piece (not noise) across a slow evolution which sometimes return to the original sound. A piece both repetitive and in perpetual motion ... (very similar to Wings on fire, perhaps done with the same drums recording)The cover is gorgeous, and can take relief as a children's book see the description in the other review.

So now we know - the noise of Menche can even make a bear scream for mercy! Like the Rurokura disc, this one is packaged in a highly imaginative piece of thin, rigid black plastic that unfolds into a miniature 3-D sculpture of sorts. Crisp, sharp and clear, looks like you can really sink your incisors into this one" Sound Projector
