This album includes 24 cradle songs, arranged, played and sounding like Music Box. An accompanying booklet includes the track's lyrics and poems, mostly in Icelandic. Most of the songs have a long tradition in Iceland, all though some of them are origin in other countries.
Me and my fiancee Agnes, produced the disc in our home on the east
coast of Iceland. My brother Villi Warén designed the cover using decorations by the artist Íris Lind Sævarsdóttir. Actually, the whole idea came to me following the birth of our son Eyvindur. He like so many other babies became calm and peaceful when hearing a sound of Music Box. Something restful and mystical affects most anyone who listens to a simple and beautiful melodies played in Music Box style. I am dedicating this CD to my children, my beloved Agnes and to all the world's parents and their children, no matter how big or small the are.
