1956 original issue of title that was reissued in 1962 retitled "Negro Folk Songs and Ballads". Includes booklet.

On this release, "Folk Songs and Ballads" is mentioned on the jacket (sans 'Negro') and "Negro Folk Music" is mentioned with first letter of each word capitalized in the booklet, but the indications on the label are that neither is the actual title of the release. The label only says 'Dick Silvera'.
