Thoughtful, orchestral downtempo music from one of the genre's biggest heroes, Tom Middleton. Tom keeps our ears tuned to the speakers as we set off on the journey he has laid out for us. Although it starts off a little "proggy" for my tastes, Lifetracks soon settles into a warm and enjoyable groove. It's certainly an album that must be listened to from start to finish, otherwise you lose sight of the picture. Overall, well produced, well executed music that spans an entire decade of Tom's impressive career.
