"Ascending red" ...A serious one, that d'n'b of the bunch. Poignant, one may feel.Coherent, telling bitter story without words, sounds only. Two moods, two facets for that narrative quality : _ first like remnant of hope (paradox it glances backward indeed, towards gravity of memories ... you know, when a melody seems to tell "Remember ? That Era, the Dayz ...").But yes, hope, not pure nostalgia or melancholy, nonetheless.One subtle impression (back through break and near end)._ then that oppressive main theme, bassline in unison with low strings.Their funeral nature stressed by some alto chord introduced from the first notes, somewhat sonic gesture "ascending red" regularly ... As if a call lost for answer. Bitterness here too through loop of brass synth (i think) with disto fx, adding overall its rugged and sombre aura.No false greatness.All sounding true from this dark meditation.
