Every year brings forth fewer and fewer interesting dark ambient projects. Yet now and then there is an exception, and it comes as a revelation. On the dark ambient map I'd chart Antikatechon's debut as a cross-section of Raison d'être and Troum but in a charismatic Italian way. The album is dense, passionate, huge in scope, and choral in nature. This is a sacred and ritualistic testimony of absolute devotion. My fav Italian ambience of the recent years.
