I wa surprised listening to this release more now 21 years old : the trademark sherwood remix is still excellent but a bit... average, or "as you would expect", while the Cabaret Voltaire Remix is in fact the one that stayed in my mind, and that still blows me : a long robotic funk diversion, a wonderful voyage into electronic Dub. Metallic snares, reverbs everywhere, samples used cleverly, and this cold funk that CV was into during this "Code" period. It is a kind of answer to kraftwerk too, as it was released few months (weeks ?) after "Music Non Stop", and I'm sure both tracks would sit together confortably in a mix, and even that a good mash-up would throw you inevitably into electronic funky dub heaven!
