Attitudes to dream evaluation vary depending on culture. Dreams are considered important, real, and public in some cultures, but absurd, irrational and personal in others. Japan has its own history of dreaming, which can be well reconstructed due to rich sources of archeological and documentary material. In this EP MIKADO KOKO describes dreams with her own distinguish taste and takes us on a music trip where people believed dreams were part of reality.
“You did the right thing” the girl named Koko says. “You did what was best. No one else could have done as well as you did. After all, you’ve done the toughest trip to Exotica in the world”. “But I still don’t know anything about life” I protest. “Look at the cover” she says “And listen to the wind”. I nod. “I know you can do it”. I nod again. “You’d better get some sleep” the girl named Koko says. “When you wake up, you’ll be a part of a brand-new world” You finally fall asleep. And when you wake up, it’s true. You are part of a brand-new world.
