Alex Tiuniaev has produced a lush, rich landscape of emotion and depth into his work titled “I Knew Her”. The album consists of one piece of music lasting 40:15 but I think this is all you need for this project. The piece builds up from minimal ambience, slowly unfolding after five minutes into the main theme of the piece. Every time I hear this there is more – memories, time and progression of life are all present in this thought provoking soundtrack. This is pure music for image and vision. It’s also always nice to hear a different side and vision to the Cold Spring catalogue.
