When it comes to indie rap, the best tracks are the ones that, like Nas used to say, "made you look". This one is one of them.Writing a review on this one is very difficult. why? Because the thrills I've got every time I hear that sound is unexplainable. The tracks are almost divine (my favorite is Bronx Criminal)...the type of tracks that will make you die for hip hop cause.Because definitely there is everything you would need if you had to bring one record with you on a desert island. That east NY style is here, at its best and fullest. The deadly combination of the productions with "out of space" lyrics are deadly. The beats are grimy, dark, invading. when you listen that track, you are in NYC, you feel NYC, you are NYC.One quote from Noodle in Once Upon in America perfectly summarizes what these dope tracks are about : "I like the stink of the streets. It makes me feel good. And I like the smell of it, it opens up my lungs. And it gives me a hard-on. "Back to the track, when I hear that punchiline "my mind possessed by digital sound from the underground", I've got this hard-on :)Many valuable/incredible indie records are out there, but definitely this is one is rarely matched. go get it now !!!PS : shame it misses the instrumental of Bronx Criminal County :-(

Dope hip-hop record....Where are they ?? Need more from them!! The sample on the 2 Ounces And A Dream is sick! The artist Devon produced that one. Garth Mitchell produced "Bronx Criminal County" Marlon Marcelle and Devon Co-produced "My Shit Is Tight. I wish that style of production would come back. The vocal sample on 2 Oz's is hypnotic and the drums rock. They could have hung with any duo from that era...There was a bunch of unreleased material from DNA, wish I could get my hand on them....
