Sorry to be the dissenting voice on this page but I'm personally 50/50 on this record...on one hand, the edits are insanely complex - and made from tape reel no lesson the other, the schizophrenic nature of these edit versions means the flow is far too interrupted to work on the dancefloor and really the original versions sound better in a club environment.

ooOOoofff!!Absolutely VICIOUS razor blade edit of I Can't Get Enough! A stellar example of the (dead?) art of reel to reel tape edits, that I've wanted since I used to hear it played on the radio late 80's early 90's, but never knew what it was until recently thanks to the magic of Discogs :) It's a real shame no one seems to do edits this way anymore since software came along and made it all tooo easy. When you hear it done as well as this, and the edits Chep Nunez et al used to do on old Hip Hop, Electro, and Freestyle trax, it sounds like nuthin' else. You can really appreciate the work that went into making them. Everyone's been trying to recreate the 80's sound for the last few years by going back to analogue equipment, but no one is doing razor blade edits, that I know of, which is a real sound of that era, and as I was around at that time enjoying this music when it was new and fresh hearing edits like this it's just pure nostalgia. I might have to pick up an old Otari myself and revive the art...

After going through one of many new crates of old house music I came across this record. House is not my favorite genre but this record is dope. If anyone is interested in buying this please let me know. I am located in Brooklyn.

What is failed to be mentioned here is that this is not just a bootleg of these two songs. These are reworkings of the these two classics utilizing blazing reel to reel multi edits done by hand with Otari Reel To Reel Tape Decks and razor blades and a genius producer. In fact the song isn't even called Can't Get Enough, it is called Can't Get Enough Edits. The entire point is missed here as a reader will just think they are getting the same exact songs mentioned here. This is one of the most astounding bootlegs in the history of cut and paste multi editing. This was done by one of these legendary editors and I will leave it at that. Carlos Berrios, The Latin Rascals (Albert Cabrera and Tony Moran), Luis Flores, Jose "Chep" Nunez, Roger Pauletta, Juan Kato & Joe Barrion (Bladerunners). I'm not giving away who did this. It is a travesty of dance music history that this record sits here barely known when it was so in demand in New York at the time that it was selling out all across the 5 bouroughs. It amazes me that it is even listed here on discogs. as after this red label version sold out it was then pressed up on a simple white label and an included razor edit of Babe Ruth's The Mexican was then included. The red version pictured here is much rarer.
