I listen to and have a very large amount of Power Electronics/Noise releases from many different artists, but this is perhaps one of the MOST disturbing and harsh releases out of everything I've heard. Murder Corporation is one of only a few artists whose music I find truly unsettling at times. Perhaps not as "intellectual" or sonically complex as some other PE/Noise artists but M.C.'s is at the same time frightening, disturbing, but beyond compelling, like a horrible car accident, crime scene photos, or some shocking internet pornography you've accidentally stumbled across. The music itself on this CD is a combination of grating high tones, rumbling, grating, bowel-moving bass, and the most inhuman vocals I've ever heard. The music upon repeated listens, in my opinion at least, does reveal more and more details and skin crawling noise/screams you didn't notice the first time around. And the length of these songs turns this album into a real endurance test. The lyrics are fairly indistinguishable which is why it's great that this disc comes with a lyric sheet of the lyrics, which despite being in bad english are pretty shocking, even for a PE artist. This is the definition of the term "power-electronics". A very rewarding listen for fans of musical extremity, an album whose horribleness and grotesque addictiveness is matched by very few others. May give you nightmares.
