Yokota came back to Harthouse one last time with this album, which is probably his last dancefloor-oriented work. Here, Susumu makes his own interpretation of the tech house and minimal scene that was all the rage back in the late 2000s. While it doesn't reach the heights of his 90's releases on the label, it does has his unique japanese touch. The only track I can recommend is "Betanamin": It's an odd mixture of oriental drums and glitchy minimal sounds, but with an amazing groove and melody (it even uses a "bleep" as a snare/clap substitute). The other cuts aren't as brilliant but do feature similar experiments.It's good to see that he returned to one of the first labels that put him on the map. Deep respect for this talented artist that unfortunately it's no longer with us.
