Great album but unfortunately the mixing engineer has done a lousy job here. Very boomy and compressed mix that's impossible to fix afterwards. All I could do was to cut below 20hz to remove some of that massive low energy in the sound and boost the highs +3db to balance the mix. Now it's listenable but still boomy, compressed, distorted at places and just mumbled. I have no idea how it became to this. It's like a hard-rock radio-mix but applied to a wrong type of music. Too bad for this album has really good songs and flow. It should be mixed and mastered anew. 4/5 for the music.
