Wildest and progressivest breakbeat I ever heard — Fire Dancefloor.

Moralsa
Totally sweeeeet tune, took me years to actually find the title of it!! A must have for those who were there in these early-ish days

Thordira
Dunno about this being under-rated :) Smashed at the time, and still is. Absolutely killer with the likes of MBM Radio Babylon (as noted below), We Are IE, 4 for Money, Jailbreak etc.

Braendo
I agree, I rinsed both tracks at the time, thought these guys were the biz on the strength of this release...was totally underwhelmed by the follow-up 'Technofunk'...discovered 4 Hero around that time...never looked back!

It's all about The Gonzo... A very under rated 12". Slick production, a track that's easy to mix, lots going on in this - from the slow, siren like start, horns kicking in, then the drum + bass, top that off with some bleeps and female vocals. Don't forget the 'whoo whoo' sample from Total Confusion too.LTJ Bukem is still playing this in his old skool set + you should too. Get it!

Dranar
Summer of 1993. I actually think if was the Forth of July. Robbie Hardkiss played this 2:30am'ish, BLOWIN' MINDS and making us all RAVE! Good memories.

The Rollers of Vildar
My all time favourite track for mixing. Slow build just goes with almost any style off dance music

lucky kitten
This really blew my mind when I first got a copy in 1992. Compared to emerging "freestyle"( Rave, Techno, Hardcore)tracks that were coming out of the UK at the time, the production on this is staggering. For UK post-ACID records, along with tracks like RADIO BABYLON this one set the blueprint for RAVE & JUNGLE. Bleeps, Bass & breakbeats, but check that SAX! Oh yeh, this track also shares the name of the longest running techno night in the world! LOST......

I heard either Fabio or Grooverider ( not sure which one as they played as Fabio and Grooverider at the time ) play this back in 1991. I always thought that The Gonzo sounded like James Brown's band playing funky drummer twice as fast as it should be. Builds to a really spacey bleep chorus. THe other side is a nice, sort of, deep house excursion, that, IMHO, would not sound out of place in a mix alongside current house/deep house. With less exposure than 'The Gonzo' another possible undiscovered gem...
