The mixes, text and artwork on this two CD set were approved by Mike Kelley prior to his death. He had been working on the reissue of this live recording with Scott Benzel since 2007 and in keeping with his wishes the Mike Kelley Foundation for the Arts chose to produce the work posthumously under the supervision of Scott Benzel and Mary Clare Stevens.
