The main album CD contains one (1) notable track (I think you already know which one it is). The rest is a forgettable bore. The bonus mix CD is good, but it's hard to give WOW much credit for just mixing other artists' songs together. A disappointment for sure. 2/5

For me this album is all about the bonus mix. The actual album cut is good Way Out West music but the Nick Warren bonus mix is outstanding. Beautiful melodic progressive house that at that time there was not the norm as it was the whole electo-progressive stuff that was so popular. This was when Nick was really coming into his own and this was the mix that started it off imo, his next mix comp was the fantastic GU 028 which might be his best mix comp of all time if you ask me.

Awesome CD comp by Way Out West. The best UK artist I have heard since progressive house switched and died after 2004 and became Trance for the Masses. Extremely over produced and perfect. Just the way I would want it from WOW. Not heard from since and comparable to the over production on New Order's Technique album. Lot's of excellent tracks my favorites being 'Apollo" "Fear" and "Killa". Not really into the slow vocal tracks as much. The bonus CD is alright. Mainly being the other Way Out West song which surprisingly comes in louder than the rest of the obscure and ambient sounding tracks. Much better and a more rewarding listen to me are Nick Warren "Paris" and "Lima" .

How did Way Out West become trance for the masses, because of a track like "Surrender?" It was a meddling proghouser at most. And I'm not particularly fond of the vocalist used, but let's be honest, the followup album, We Love Machine, could hardly be accurately summed up in that fashion.

This CD is one of the favorites in my collection. With a wide spectrum of styles included. A lot of people have probably already heard the great Killa. But there are a lot more tracks on this album making it worth buying. Just like a man is a very beautiful and slow piece and might just be my favorite tune on this album. Another thing that makes this a given place in your collection is the incredibly well mixed Bonus CD. It contains a lot of tunes I had never heard before and was a really fresh experience.

Great cd, some really nice tunes on here, and not just the club oriented ones. Standouts for me are 'Anything But You' and 'Fear', which are awesome live :) I think this cd is better than the last album, 'Intensify', I just find it better to listen to personally, although a lot of people would probably disagree! Its a great cd to buy if you want a little bit of variety, theres breaks, progressive, and some more mellow relaxed tunes too, plus the bonus mix cd! Highly reccomended.

Ran and got this CD as soon as I learned it came out. While the CD is definitely great, what you really want is the "bonus" Mix CD. A genius mix combination of low-key progressive house/break beat, has a great airy and 'northern' feel to it. Overall a more mellow album than their last effort with Intensify, Activity and such.
