I discovered this band's music about 4 years on a random Youtube Session, and i loved them from the word go! this album is easily a nice introduction to this band (now remastered in 2014 on Archives De La Zone Mondiale- limited!) Lucrate Milk are imo one of the best punk bands just below Beurier Noir to come out of France. their music is kind of odd mix the best parts of X Ray Spex, The Slits and Crass all blundered together and done to their own twisted demeanor, with songs about been a small child wanting toys or loving James Bond. its a pity Lucrate never touched foot overseas, as i can imagine a lot of the weirdo punks (like myself) would've loved them. see what this album does for you, their isn't a bad song on it, barring the closer "magic mushrooms" which for some reason the band flick the whole song backwards!
