Heard this on Chris Forbes show in the UK in 88. Funky acid, sizzling percussion and slowed down crashing sounds like the waves. Hypnotic. Perfect!

Probably one of the records I most wanted to see repressed due the impossibility of getting an original copy at a realistic price.Excellent music - and quite a standout from the acid era (despite being very obscure at the time)

Monstrous...terrifying..This absolutely tore the roof off the Hacienda back in the day.. would love to hear this dropped in somewhere like Pacha in IBZ on a sound system truly worthy of it.The 303 was made for this track. House music never felt so sick.

This is long overdue for a reissue. So many other classics have been repressed or bootlegged. This is my favorite acid tune. Somebody please reach out to Rodney Bakerr, this needs to be heard.

I recently started (re)collecting vinyl again, especially the jamz I used to spin back in the 80s & 90s. Imagine my delight when, on the first day of diggin' through a local resale shop, I found this gem!! In my estimation, the "Acid rain" track is probably the best Acid track ever!! To those of you searching - good luck finding it!

For me, the best 3 acid house tracks are (in reverse order) - Fast Eddie 'Acid Thunder', Bobby Konders - 'Nervous Acid' and, in top place, this wild piece of 303 insanity which must have been programmed by an unhinged genius from the 11th dimension. As others have said - its the Acid Rain mix which must be uncaged. Worth paying almost any price for this one.

The a side of this record is a solid chicago house song. with the obligatory club, intrumental, and radio mixes. It's female vocals are of a high standard compared to most of the vocal tracks from this era. On the b side there's a different story: total acid madness. The bassline is chasing the steady roland tr-707 house beat, having a hard time keeping up it seems. I'm hearing a sample here that sounds like it comes from adonis' 'the poke'. Wild tweaking on the tb-303, pitch sweeps - notes hanging - massive delay and reverb modulation. 'Acid rain' is an instrumental mix, 'acid love' adds hypnotizing samples of the original vocals.

The Acid mix on this 12" is one of the best examples of 303 programming you are likely to ever here....even 16 years on most people would stuggle to replicate the feel of this mix with current equipment used in place of the 303..I don't remember hearing this back then cause if I did I would have bought several copies....recommended.

One of the gems in my collection. Filthy, scary, dirty, beautiful...a true underground record. You can imagine the 303 is singing with joy on this one! I once had a music session with two friends and we had the decks spinning solidly all weekend, day and night. We played everything, across the board. The Acid Rain Mix is the ONLY track we played twice and we played it twice consecutively. My mates couldn`t believe it! Absolutely mental track!

This has to be one of the most dangerous bits of acid house ever released. 303's on a search and destroy mission but without resorting to high frequency screaming. I love this record but recommend only to those with a firm anchor to reality. Rampaging.
